The Registrar's Office provides certified copies of births, marriages, and deaths that occurred in the Borough of Manville only. Our records span 1929 to present.
Certified copy: $25 first copy; $2 each for additional copies of the same document
Birth Certificates before 1929 can be obtained from the Township of Hillsborough at 908-369-4313 or the State of New Jersey.
MARRIAGE LICENSES
Marriage licenses are by appointment only.
Couples must be able to provide government issued photo identification and proof of residency. If the applicant was previously married, they must be able to show their divorce decree or death certificate of previous spouse. There is a 72 hour hold period between the when the couple signs the license application to when the marriage license is issued. Marriage licenses once issued are valid for 30 days.
