Responsibilities
The Human Resources Department supports the Borough in its mission to serve the needs of the community by recruiting, developing, and retaining an outstanding workforce who are committed to quality public service.
The HR Department is dedicated to developing the Borough's workforce to ensure excellent service to our residents as well as the continued improvement of our Borough. In addition to recruiting for open positions, the Human Resources Director is also responsible for assisting the Borough Administrator with the management of the Borough.

The Borough's Human Resources Office is responsible for administering the borough's human resources policies and practices - including recruiting, training, benefits, and labor relations, in accordance with a culture that values diversity, encourages customer satisfaction, and strives to provide a stimulating, competitive, and encouraging work environment.
The Human Resources Department is responsible for coordinating the recruitment and hiring of all Borough employees. The department administers the Borough's retirement system, compensation, benefits, orientation, and other support services for the departments and divisions.
The Human Resources Department is committed to hiring, compensating, and developing the Borough's workforce to ensure its ability to serve the Borough's residents and make it better.
