Zufall Health will be at the Manville Public Library on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 12 – 6pm, with its mobile medical van. A Nurse Practitioner, behavioral health case manager, and outreach worker will be available to consult with flood victims regarding disaster-related health concerns.
Common concerns might be:
Minor injuries or exposures due to flood prevention and clean up including cuts, scrapes, bruises, and other skin irritations.
How to replace lost medications and/or prescriptions
Dealing with post-disaster stress
Navigating local resources
Replacing lost health documents
Enrolling in insurance plans
Connecting with on-going health care
There will be no fees for individuals. If services provided are reimbursable by insurance, insurance cards will be requested when available.
