[ARCHIVED] Snow Storm Parking Restrictions

Good morning residents. We are continuing to monitor forecasts for the cold temperatures that are expected starting this evening and this weekend’s storm. Current projected snow fall amounts show  we are in the  8-12” range for snowfall depending on if we get any sleet mixed in during the storm that could change the snow totals.

OEM will be meeting with department heads from DPW, PD,FD, EMS, the Manville School District and the Borough Administrator/Mayor& Council early this afternoon to go over current storm prep operations and plans for Sunday and Monday.

In the event that we need to declare a Local State of Emergency there will be NO PARKING on any Borough street during the storm. The locations listed will be available for parking for those residents who cannot park in a driveway or on their lawns. Notification to residents will be made through Borough Social Media Pages, Nixle Alerts and CodeRed Alert should we declare the Local State of Emergency.

1. VFW 2290 - 600 Washington Ave - Main Lot Only.

2. Brooks Blvd Lot between North 3rd Ave and North 4th Ave.

3. Main Street Municipal Lot - South Main Street between South Orchard Street and Rosalie Street

4. Manville Public Library Lot

5. Borough Hall - Lower Parking Lot - North 1st Ave

We ask that any residents that need to park in any of these lots to park in marked spaces and do not block access in and out of the lots. Vehicles will need to be removed from these lots within 12 hours of the snowfall ending to allow for DPW to do cleanup of these lots.

Please continue to follow this page for updates throughout the weekend.
