Welcome to Manville!
Founded in 1929, it is a historic Borough of approximately 2.5 square miles and about 10,400 residents. Manville is located in the near center of Somerset County and along the Raritan and Millstone Rivers to the North and East respectively. Manville shares its borders with Somerville, Bound Brook, and Hillsborough.
Manville is a community with many attributes. The small town atmosphere is paired well with easy travel distance of all the cultural, economic, and transportation resources of the Newark/ New York / Philadelphia metropolitan area. Manville is conveniently located near Interstate 287, Route 28, and Route 206.
Community events include annual carnivals, an annual holiday tree lighting ceremony, an annual Community Day celebration, a Memorial Day Parade, an annual National Night Out event with the local Police Department, and other educational events. There are many local recreational sports leagues and activities. A Farmers’ Market opens every June through September featuring produce from local farms.

The calendar contains resident information as well as the dates of regular Mayor & Council Meetings, Joint Land Use Board Meetings, and trash and recycling pick up dates.
